SanDisk Announces Retail Products Suite


SanDiskLogo-179SanDisk Corporation has launched a number of products including the SanDisk Memory Vault, 64GB SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I Card, 64GB SanDisk Mobile Ultra microSDXC Card, Cruzer Fit and Cruzer Switch USB Flash Drives, SanDisk SecureAccess Software, and ImageMate All-in-One USB 3.0 Reader/Writer.

Manisha Sood, Country Manager and Director, India and SAARC SanDisk Corporation, was quoted in a press release as saying, "Our flash storage solutions help consumers capture more photos, load their mobile apps faster, share exciting moments with friends and preserve their memories for generations to come."
The SanDisk Memory Vault, developed using Chronolock technology, is said to be a photo album for the digital age. The SanDisk Memory Vault comes in 8GB and 16GB capacities that cost Rs. 3,499/- and Rs. 5,499/- respectively.
SanDisk has created a new SD card based (SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I Card) on the latest SD 3.0 specification’s Ultra High Speed (UHS) bus architecture and it has been claimed that this card offers the fastest write performance of any SD card in the world to date. SanDisk Extreme Pro SDHC and SDXC UHS-I cards come in 8GB to 64GB capacities with prices starting from Rs. 2,199/- (8GB) to Rs. 16,299/- (64GB).
SanDisk’s new 64GB microSDXC , which is a high-capacity UHS-based card that features up to 30MB/sec transfer speeds and offers the Class 6 performance needed to capture Full HD videos. The card is compatible with any tablet or smartphone equipped with a microSDXC card slot. SanDisk Mobile Ultra cards come in capacities ranging from 4GB to 64GB to meet a variety of needs, with prices starting from Rs. 899/- (4GB) to Rs14,799/- (64GB).
SanDisk’s new Cruzer Fit USB flash drive is reportedly about the size of a dime. The drive comes in 4GB to 16GB capacities with prices starting from Rs. 249/- (4GB) to Rs749/- (16GB).
SanDisk’s new Cruzer Switch USB flash drive features a cap-less, slider-less, flip-top design for easy portability and comes in 2GB to 64GB capacities with prices starting from Rs. 499/- (2GB) to Rs2,699/- (64GB).
SanDisk claims to offer encryption and online backup features (up to 2GB optionally available) on almost all of its retail USB drives. The SanDisk SecureAccess software creates a password-protected private vault on the drive that lets consumers share the files they want while protecting sensitive data.
Based on USB 3.0 interface transfer performance of up to 500MB/s, the ImageMate All-in-One USB 3.0 Reader/Writer card reader/writer reportedly reduces transfer time when downloading data from a card to a computer. Outfitted with four card slots, this compact solution supports all major card formats and is backwards compatible with USB 2.0-enabled devices. The reader/write comes for Rs. 2,799.
