iPhone 5 May Not Release This Year; Photos of iPhone 4S Parts Emerge

iphone_4s_179The iPhone 5 rumours just seem to be intensifying. We have some details about a new iPhone, not the iPhone 5 but the iPhone 4S. According to the co-founder of iRepair.in, the new iPhone may just be an incremental upgrade to the iPhone 4 and a completely new design seems highly unlikely.

Here are photographs of the claimed iPhone 4S parts along with the details of the same.

This is an image of the iPhone 4S front glass bezel. It looks like it is slightly thinner than the bezel of the iPhone 4. The only difference seems to be around the proximity sensor marking area.

This looks like the dock-cum-antenna cable connector and has a very slight deviation in terms of design from the iPhone 4's dock connector.

The home button retains the circular design and the rear camera has no changes in design as of now. The resolution of the camera is still a point of contention. iRepair’s co-founder believes it could retain the same 5MP resolution.

This part looks like the headphone jack assembly and according to the i-device repair firm it looks almost 80 percent similar to iPhone 4’s corresponding component.
However, some online reports suggested that there are two iPhone which might be announced but the production of one of the iPhone’s seems to be going through some delays.  Stuff also claimed to have some additional images of cases for the next-generation device.
These images also suggest that the iPhone 4 may not see a major upgrade and hence iPhone 5 releasing this year looks bleak. However, we can just wait and watch. Keep reading this space for more updates.
